I'thousand confronting called-for books.
People should have access to whatever book they want. I'm only not sure what people would utilise this book for? I hope they rip out the pages and accident their noses or wipe their private parts because - to be honest - it'southward sad to meet newspaper wasted similar this, so at to the lowest degree they're putting it to adept utilize in the end.
P.Due south.: Toilet newspaper has a better plot though AND isn't sexist so if yous consider ownership this or toilet paper always be condom and cull the latter.

Like many, Fifty Shades Darker is my favorite book in the trilogy. Considering of this, I was nervous about reading this book. In that location are certain scenes I needed in Christian's POV, simply they had to be done just right to satisfy me. I loved being in Christian'south caput, but it did experience a lot like reading the original over again. Not that it's a bad thing, I adore the original. Zachary Webber does a fantastic task bringing Christian to life. If you savour audio books, this is one I would highly recommend!

I practise not wish to write a review.
I simply want to point out three things:
1. Y'all never insult other readers/reviewers who like/love/admire a volume/series that you hate. Please.
2. If y'all don't like the start book in the series and give a rating of 1 star, y'all don't take to read the second book in the series. Not much will change. And so, apparently you lot will give 1 star again.
And if you don't like the 2d book in the serial, you really

I but want to bespeak out three things:
1. You never insult other readers/reviewers who like/love/adore a book/series that you detest. Please.
2. If you don't like the beginning book in the series and give a rating of 1 star, you don't have to read the second book in the series. Not much will alter. And then, obviously yous will give 1 star over again.
And if yous don't similar the 2d book in the serial, you really don't have to read the tertiary book in the series. In that location is no bespeak. You only torture yourself.
And if y'all don't like the third book in the series, for heaven's sake, don't read the forth book in the serial.
And if y'all still read the forth book in the series (why???), you all the same do not have to read the fifth book in the series. Nobody will forcefulness you. Nobody will blame you. You are gratis not to read information technology. Honestly.
Which brings me to my third indicate.
three. If you lot oasis't read the higher up mentioned books; you seriously exercise not have to charge per unit them and/or fifty-fifty review them.
This serial has opened a new globe to me. And I believe I am sensible enough to understand
-What is right and what is wrong
-What is wrong and what is under particular standards
-What is reality and what is over the pinnacle fiction
Thanks!

I'm so disappointed that I didn't end up loving this book.
I have to be honest, I skimmed through well-nigh of information technology. Christian was also much of a sap and desperate for Ana's affections. Really, the both of them with the same insecurities became monotonous. Christian was constantly agape that Ana was going to leave him once again and Ana was afraid she wasn't plenty to keep him satisfied. I knew this from the original serial but it seemed to be magnified in "DARKER".

I have to be honest, I skimmed through almost of information technology. Christian was too much of a sap and desperate for Ana'south angel. Actually, the both of them with the same insecurities became monotonous. Christian was constantly afraid that Ana was going to leave him again and Ana was afraid she wasn't enough to go along him satisfied. I knew this from the original series just it seemed to be magnified in "DARKER".
There were a couple of things I did similar.
I liked that we got to run into what happened to Ros and Christian afterward Charlie Tango crashed.
Likewise that we got to see how Christian handled Leila later on she threatened Ana in her apartment.
I volition always love the FSOG series and Christian was my first love.
I retrieve it'south probably best if a third book comes out that I stay away because I don't want my beloved to be ruined by his POV.

As well, how deep down, Christian actually was a very insecure homo who deep downwardly just felt unloveable.
The large question is...Am I glad that I read it?! I have to say that I am...mainly considering I did forget a lot of the little details...on the whole though, my rating ended up being less from when I originally read Fifty Shades. I think information technology is because after Fifty Shades has been out for awhile, there have been a lot of astonishing books that accept come up later on these...and I can't in good conscience compare this to some of the others. I constitute there were a lot of times where I was bored...and the sexual activity scenes were but ok to me. In the by few years, I have read some books that accept extremely passionate sexual activity....I just didn't get collywobbles this time from Christian and Ana...
Please don't go me wrong though. I still adore Christian Greyness...and I am eager to read the next instalment whenever information technology does come out! Oh, and I am DYING to scout the movie in February! And so...yes...this trilogy still affects me...just not near every bit much as when it very first came out!!!

Sure we go Christian's thoughts, which I was very curious about, especially because of the parts with Elena and Leila, but for me it was even so similar reading the same book once again...
Since volume ii was my favorite out of the FSoG series, I just had to give this one from Christian's pov, a go. Swell I must say, but just like with "Grayness", I found at that place was too much repeated from the 2nd volume.Sure nosotros get Christian's thoughts, which I was very curious about, peculiarly because of the parts with Elena and Leila, only for me it was nevertheless like reading the same book again...

Emotionally charged, ultra steamy, funny and witty, and oh so romantic, Darker had for me a richer and even more developed writing than its predecessors, which fed my FSoG fan addiction to the fullest, and made me practically (given information technology's a long one, which I'grand thankful, btw) devour it in one sitting!

OK, what to say?
I love Fifty Shades. I've loved it since I read it in 2012. I didn't read the fanfic - I hate fanfics. ☺
I loved the get-go book in Christian'south POV and I loved this one, only not as much.
Darker is my favorite of all three books, but Christian was and then mushy in his book. So non-dominant, non-manly, not-CEO-ish. Not all the time, just he mostly was. I dearest 50 Shades. I've loved it since I read information technology in 2012. I didn't read the fanfic - I hate fanfics. ☺
I loved the first book in Christian's POV and I loved this i, but non every bit much.
Darker is my favorite of all three books, but Christian was so mushy in his volume. And so non-dominant, non-manly, non-CEO-ish. Non all the fourth dimension, but he mostly was. His but thought throughout the book was his fearfulness that Ana would exit him. And I know that he'due south so horribly scared of that, but it made the book and then meh.
But - I still loved it and everything in it. I loved the Charlie Tango crash scene and the moment he came back abode to observe his whole family there.
I loved to finally run across what happened with Leila in the bathroom. After the lemon martini with his mom. With Elana in the little bits from the past. So many great moments we now know from his POV. Only I also missed so much. I wanted And so much more Dr. Flynn. Where was he???
I wanted more from the past - Elena, fiddling Christian, perchance a bit from schoolhouse or something like that.
I loved the book, but I would've loved it so much more with a bit more in it. It was a huge book - but I still wanted more than. I volition e'er desire more than with CG. ☺
And at present ... I copied something from my review for CG'south get-go book #Grayness - because the same affair still applies in his 2nd book - maybe even worse!!! No offense intended, but it has to be said:
What I hated - and what I already hated in the start 3 books - I wish that a talented The states AMERICAN editor would've looked over the manuscript before information technology got published :/ There are soooooo effing many British words and expressions in in that location - Christian wouldn't say them - or retrieve them. Perhaps if he were a 70 year erstwhile professor from Oxford.
I don't even know why that bothers me so much... but it does! I know that EL James is British...only Christian is a YOUNG American guy, living in America, so he should talk and think American. Information technology happens a lot with British authors who create an American world. Why not stay in England with your stories if you can't lose the accent? I know information technology won't probably bother anyone, but it'due south a real hard-limit for me. ☺ I know - I'm weird - sue me. ☺☺☺
BUT as I said before, I nonetheless loved the book - VERY MUCH. And I can't await to read FREED in Christian'due south POV! Hurry Erika!

The narrator helped me go through…I have read, watched and at present listened to this series. I surprisingly didn't mind reading Greyness even though it was a story retold. I was curious about Christian'southward human relationship with Eleanor and what makes him defend, befriend and provide for a child abuser. I found some questions were answered but at that place were things that I was all the same curious near. When Darker was released, I wasn't jumping for joy and rushing to buy it. The price factor put me off. I was also concerned that my love of the 2nd movie would be diminished because of this book. I really liked the second movie and didn't desire the experienced tainted.
So, my reading experience was a *Wow, kinky stuff is going mainstream?!?!* The movie feel was *Wow, I didn't need the night glasses and baseball cap subsequently all!* My listening experience was *Wow, how does a bloke practice this (reading out loud) without busting a gut laughing*.
Thank goodness Zachary Webber didn't bust a gut laughing. He was extremely professional and made listening, a pleasure.
What I observe hard is connecting all 3 experiences. Ana'due south version shows a timid and shy girl who is WAY out of her depth, with Christian every bit an egotistical command freak. The motion-picture show shows Ana as having more backbone and sass than the books. Christian as well comes across in the movies as more quieter and reserved. Speaking but when he needs to…deportment speak louder than words. Unfortunately, Darker (I won't say the audio because information technology was the story and not the narration) gave us a Christian Gray that was WEAK, self-loathing and completely defective in conviction. Every bloody time he starts with the *…she's going to leave* I wanted to throw something. A couple of times, sure. Every five minutes, though? Torture!!
For the first time in whatever of my reading, watching and listening experiences, I actually thought *Geez, Christian, talk about double standards*. (view spoiler)[He friggin gives Leila a bath?!?! Holy Bloody Hell!! AND HE DOESN'T EVEN TELL ANA BECAUSE HE KNOWS Information technology WILL MAKE HER CRANKY!! Gee whiz, what a friggin surprise… (hibernate spoiler)] His controlling ways were something that I accustomed equally part of his "amuse" simply to blatantly have one dominion for him and one for Ana drove me bonkers. He didn't seem to have Ana'due south feelings into consideration at all which made me angry. For the first time Ever I was disgusted with it all. I nearly gave upwardly. I was so incensed, I fifty-fifty thought of forgoing the last movie. I was THAT disgusted and overwhelmed with loathing.
I gained a little satisfaction when Grace found out the truth about Eleanor and whooped her arse for it. Even knowing the outcome and what would play out, I couldn't assist wishing for Grace to (view spoiler)[phone call the cops and have her charged. Information technology still peeves me that she got away with sexual, mental and physical abuse. I never understood why Grace didn't human activity on (any decent mother's) instinct, and make Eleanor endure for her crimes? (hide spoiler)]
I finished information technology and it was But thanks to Zachary Weber. If I had read it, I probably would take DNF'd it.
In that location will probably be a few people who will be questioning why it took me and so long to admit Christian is a wiggle. The movie really doesn't portray the "real" Christian if Darker is the "real" Christian. The alternate POV has opened my eyes to a few things and made me question how I could have liked FSOG at all. It was the falseness of his love that pushed me over the border. He was all *I will do annihilation for you Ana*. In reality, they were but words. He actually didn't have her feelings into account and hardly considered how he would react if the situation was reversed.
I will non exist going on if E.Fifty. James brings out an alternate POV for Freed. Christian, you're a douchewaffle, and there's no coming back from there.
Darker is a volume that should've have been written in my opinion. I get that information technology's Christian'south POV but I already hated the books from Anna's POV.. then why would I really need to reread the same volume from the guy? this whole situation could've been fixed if the books were originally dual POV... but I didn't write them.
Now I will admit that Christina'south POV is improve than Anna'due south but that's but because the guy doesn't constantly whine or feel insecure. All the same, that doesn't mean it was amazing. Sorry guys.. it just wasn't. I'm yet kind of shocked that I dove into this book/series.
Overall, it was meh. I still don't like Anna and Christian. They act like petty bitches sometimes and I but can't get behind their relationship. I seriously promise that this is the last book, ever.

And that's that, the end of the Fifty Shades journey (unless of course James writes us some more than, i'yard begging for a prequel on Elena and Christian if she'due south taking requests. BDSM is far more fun with willing participants rather than cry babies who sleep a lot).I enjoyed Christian'south perspective much more than Anastasia'due south although all the gushing on how much he loves her did grate with me. She's a child who literally tin can non be depended on to have her contraceptive pill, she sleeps way too much and in terms of life experience and handling people with trauma she has a long way to go.
I actually enjoyed the sub plot of Leila and how Christian handled her. The scene with him blow drying her hair i found really touching and intimate.
After reading Christian's side of the story with him, Elena and Leila I really felt the mental illness baseline of the plot and the different ways the characters responded to that. Its no surprise that Anastasia failed on all counts.
Fabulous sex scenes as usual both within and outside the cerise room of hurting. Really enjoyed seeing more of the supporting characters, Taylor and Ros to proper name a few.
Overall a four star serial for me.

As Darker mimics Fifty Shades Darker, nosotros find out just how desperate he was to get his Ana dorsum and what he would do to keep her past his side. His emotions flow off the pages every bit he lets us see the innerworkings of his mind and his heart. He loved her, even though the words stuck in his throat. He supported her even though information technology looked like he was dominating her. He was proud of her even though he didn't know how to tell her. He was the happiest he ever was in his life and didn't know how to show that emotion without sounding sappy. Only, when he finally opens up, as his past comes back to haunt him and Ana doesn't run, he knows, without a dubiety, that she needs to be continuing past his side for the rest of his life. At present, it's time to put his by behind him and build to the future.

Nosotros had Ana's malaise as she tried to effigy out if she was enough for him, if she could please him and now, there's Christian and him trying to convince her the vanilla life is enough for him for the remainder of his life.
While I am reading, I usually have music playing in the background. The story carries me into another globe and the music relaxes me. Normally I'll accept a land music station on and it was no dissimilar while I was reading Darker. Then, in the eye of the story a song came on that was Christian through and through. Not sure if Sam Hunt had Christian in mind when he wrote it or if William Michael Morgan knew that his vocal would remind me of how Christian felt … merely … Ms. Steele, this one is for you.
I Met a Girl
She don't laugh at everything only when she does the planet swings effectually her
She don't footstep on sidewalks seams, her teenage boyfriends all still dream near her
She don't need the glitter of the Vegas' lights,
She blow a kiss and get out it spinning' like a tilt-a-whirl
I met a girl
She made me smile, she fabricated me expect
She crossed the street, she crossed my heart
She fixed her dress, she fleck her lip, she let me up
I met a girl with crazy shoes and baby dejection
The way she moves is changing my whole world
I met a daughter
The sunshine waits for her to wake up, she'southward a pony tail no make-upwards Sabbatum
'Cause she don't need umbrellas in the summer rain, she could grab the eye of a hurricane
In bluish jeans and pearls
I met a girl
She fabricated me grin, she fabricated me wait
She crossed the street, she crossed my middle
She fixed her dress, she flake her lip, she allow me up
I met a girl with crazy shoes and baby dejection
The manner she moves is irresolute my whole world
She turned around and it felt like the world turned upside down
And the merely matter I could say was "hey", and I'm and then glad she didn't walk abroad
She dances similar nobody sees her, I can't believe I get to exist here in her world
I met a daughter
She fabricated me smile, she made me wait
She crossed the street, she crossed my heart
She stock-still her clothes, she bit her lip, she allow me up
I met a daughter with crazy shoes and baby dejection
The way she moves is changing my whole world
I met a daughter
I met a girl
I hope you lot enjoyed reading the lyrics to I Met A Daughter. To me, it epitomizes Christian'due south feelings for Ana, even though he has such a difficult fourth dimension telling her or convincing her that he'due south willing to live a "Vanilla" life with her – she tames the beast without the cane or whip. Only, I would be remiss if I didn't point out that Darker was E.L. James' all-time work however. The story flowed off the pages and yous could feel what Christian was feeling … it was so well written, precise and emotional. I tried, so very hard, to parallel this story to Twilight – I tin't! The Fifty Shades Saga stands on its own with characters that are totally different (except for Ana biting her lip) and way more than complex than Edward and Bella. I am and then happy that I am beingness given the honor to review this exceptional story and I am actually looking forrard to Christian's thoughts and feelings in Freed.
